Beth Moore rocks my world!
Some really awesome things have happened lately!
1) The "Monster Prayer" session was AMAZING. I've never heard such beautiful prayers (for such a long time) in my life. And it was so badly needed--- our mission to Romania needs to be completely IMMERSED in prayer...and worship. It was soooooo refreshing to be in the presence of the Lord with my brothers and sisters! And the icing on the cake- Liviu has a crazy big trampoline in his backyard that Noelle and I just couldn't get enough of!
2) Sara bought me a devotional workbook (thanks Sparky :) ) that has helped me grow so much. Praise the LORD! because lately my quiet times haven't had much direction. It's designed for women (written by Beth Moore, the coolest woman EVER) and it's really thought-provoking. Like have you ever wondered why there are so few chapters in the Bible that explain the creation of the universe, but so many chapters (50, to be exact) are dedicated to information about the tabernacle? It's because the universe was created to be the habitation of people; the tabernacle, the habitation of God... it's where God intended to MEET with HIS PEOPLE (Exodus 25:22; 29:42-43; 30:6,36). Isn't that so precious? If for a second you look past all the specific requirements and regulations that God instructed for the building of the tabernacle-- you'll see that the ultimate purpose was for God to delight in his chief creation!!! Before sin entered the world, Adam and Eve enjoyed the standing invitation of perpetual access when they walked with God in the Garden!
3) Mina and Victor's wedding was SO beautiful! I'm so happy for them!! I think they should be getting back from their honeymoon any day now....
4) We kicked some butt during the volleyball game today! POUND IT!
