Why is it that the greatest pleasures in life come at such a great price???

At 11:48 pm on Saturday night, I sat in my room and realized that God is far more sovereign than I give Him credit for.

Why is it that when I had a relationship dilemma, I immediately turned to my friends, sisters & books? Certainly, there is nothing immoral about that... but wouldn't it be much more practical to read THE BOOK that has the answer to everything, and to turn to THE ONE that has full authority and control?!

Both of us tried to keep God the focus of the entire process.... but in the back of my mind, I felt bad imposing this twenty-first century, typical-mainstream-Christian pseudo-romance on the Almighty Creator of the universe.

I've learned, though, that God's hand is over the entire situation. I'm sad about the outcome, but my full trust belongs to the Lord. I'm confident that my God has plans to prosper me, and not to harm me....
